Hanukkah is a minor Jewish holiday as compared to the high holidays of Rosh Hashonah and Yom Kippur or to Purim and Passover. It became a more significant holiday in the western world because of its proximity to Christmas and the desire among more secular Jews to participate in the cultural build-up to the winter solstice; as a result, gift-giving (in addition to the traditional gift of. The aim they had was to create a reliable, efficient and innovative Linux distribution with a similar to MAC OS desktop. But the real fact is that Pear Linux 8 is an Ubuntu remix with a simple but beautiful user interface (a customized GNOME 3) and out-of-the-box support for many popular multimedia codecs.

Oracle Java 8 on Mavericks or Yosemite needs Apple's Java 1.6 to function. However, all of the symlinks in /usr/bin point to Java 1.6, so when a Jenkins tries to run via /Library/Application Support/Jenkins/jenkins-runner.sh, it launches using Java 1.6. To run under Java 8, you need to do the following:
- Install Apple's Java from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572
- Install Oracle Java 8
- Edit jenkins-runner.sh:
- Add the line:
- Change the last two lines to read:
Jenkins will now run using Java 8.

Are the Pages and Numbers apps that I originally bought on iTunes for iPad for $9.99 each transferrable to or able to run on 2011 MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.5? The mac app store wants $19.99 each to download. I thought the new operating system was supposed to run the iPhone and iPad apps. My Mac shows the apps in iCloud drive but only opens them in preview. Any way to run these without paying twice for the same app, also curious what apps other people are using in place of these. I use them mostly for basic lists or to open word/excel docs. Thanks.
